The College is regarded Nationally as one of the best sports extra curricular programmes for boys. The flagship programme is the First XVIII Australian Football Team. Currently there are in excess of 20 Old Collegians listed as AFL players. This has included a total of 10 drafted players in 2010-2012 era and has seen St Patrick’s recognised as one of the great “Gold Mines” for AFL recruiting.
