I specialise in acting for corporate occupiers in relation to portfolio transactions and projects including lease re-gears, disposals, corporate acquisitions, CVAs, bespoke finance-lease structures and lease management. I have particular expertise in providing strategic advice to the motor manufacturing, hospitality, leisure and late-night entertainment sectors. I lead the Real Estate Division’s legaltech development including the use of innovative AI, document automation and technology systems to deliver specialist, tailored advice and analysis to clients faster and more accurately than ever before. My recent projects include: • using AI to analyse and report upon titles and a portfolio of leases in conjunction with a corporate acquisition of a pub company; • providing strategic advice to Revolution Bars Group in relation to the property aspects of Revolution Bars Limited’s CVA; • completing numerous lease re-gear and rent suspension projects for a number of occupier clients as a result of the Covid pandemic; • ongoing advice to Volkswagen Group United Kingdom in relation to its national dealer portfolio; • acting for London & Continental Railways Limited in its disposal of a key development site to facilitate the £200 million Oxpens Road, Oxford regeneration program; • representing The Open University in its property reorganisation program involving acquisitions and disposals across various multi-million-pound sites across the country; • working as part of the property team carrying out due diligence in relation to the £172 million share purchase of Park Holidays UK; and • working on a team representing a ‘Big Five’ UK bank in relation to a petrochemical company’s acquisition of a portfolio of filling stations.
