Medinah Country Club Intern

Mar 2010 - Sep 2010
Came here as an intern in 2010 for my 6 month internship from PSU. At the time we were growing in Course #3 for prep for the 2012 Ryder Cup. Its a 54 hole golf facility with a Driving range, practice area and 2 newly constructed putting greens. When my internship ended I was asked to come back in 2011 as a assistant superintendent. I am still currently here and we did successfully host the 2012 Ryder Cup and re-built Course #1 and still currently in the grow in process. I am now on Course #3 and the assistant.

Green's Keeper
-
Aug 2004 - Sep 2010
Started when I was just beginning high school. It was my first job and started out working in bunkers, widi, push mowing, and mowing greens/collars. I continue to stay to here because I enjoyed it and it also gave me some money for when I was in high school and saved money for college and bigger things I wanted. The golf course is one of the best courses in the area and When I first started we were putting in a new nine holes to make the property a 27 hole facility. On the day to day routine we maintain the course to member/public expectations.
