Current and previous events include The Tour de France, Le Mans 24 hour, European Tour Golf, The FA Cup, Snooker World Championships, The Paris, London and Manchester Terror attacks, Radio 1 Big Weekend. I have managed and implemented the above events by myself. I have a good relationship with management and I am considered an integral part of the team being a “Go To” person when difficult problems arise. Other Duties Include:- Scheduling satellite space for clients with both in house and external satellite requirements. Logistic scheduling to meet requests from customers for hardware outside broadcast requirements to agreed deadlines both in the UK and internationally. Build excellent relationships with customers to promote and encourage further repeat business. Arranging cost effective travel and hotel accommodation for field staff. Develop a good working relationship with service providers and field based staff to ensure targets can be met for unforeseen circumstances. Emergency scheduling of resources to ensure customer and internal needs are met within deadlines. Resource Controller
-
Feb 2010 - Oct 2014
Responsibilities :- Resourcing and maintaining engineer workload across the UK including current, outstanding and aged tickets, ordering replacement parts and scheduling delivery, maintain a Key performance indicator (KPI) of 96% of responding to phone calls within 20 seconds and ensuring customer KPI stays within agreed limits, ensure engineers work efficiently and in the proper sequence to fully meet customer expectations, ensuring customers are kept fully updated on status, ensuring correct engineers of a relevant skill level are scheduled to match customer problems and to limit any rework required making sure the problems are solved first time. Prioritising jobs to level of severity correctly and within KPI and SLA. At times of staff shortage or vacation I have also managed the entire UK resource schedule single handed and continued to maintain to a high level. This involves up to 100 engineers covering hundreds of sites within the UK. I’m used to working in a high pressure environment often averaging 100 incoming phone calls a day and managing those schedules to a high level. Many people within the company considered me as a go-to person and a fast and reliable problem solver for others. In the past I have also trained new resource controllers to the team and assisted in training other departments to understand the role we do, the complexity of workload and the ordering of parts on SAP.
