Based at St Clare's, a drop in center for homeless and insecurely housed adults that was open every day of the year. Relief Worker, Project Worker and Acting Manager
-
Sep 1999 - Mar 2006
I worked across a range of services including a residential physical and learning disability service, a residential mental health service and floating support in the community. For 5 years I worked in a 24/7 residential service for homeless young people (16 - 25) as a Project Worker, acting up as Manager on two separate occasions. The service became known as a 'flagship service' based on it's approach and outcomes.
