NDT SUPERVISOR (2004 – 2015):Oversaw whole NDT division as the non-destructive testing supervisor. Ensured inspectors certification current, controlled calibration of NDT equipment, audited procedures to ensure compliance as mandated by maintenance schedulePOWER PLANT ENGINEER (2012 - 2015): CF56-3, TFE731-5, PW123 and PW150 * ECTM (engine condition trend monitoring) – received real time data e.g. fuel burn, oil consumption, turbine temperature, crucial indicators and exceedances from satellite systems. Used all factors for analysis, to monitor engine health and to assist with troubleshooting to ensure optimal service life * LLP (life limited parts) - tracked and monitored engine clocking system (start & shut down), liaised with technical reps re: situations to assist with additional information for airline engines* AD (airworthiness directives) – planned maintenance as mandated by regulatory authority, scheduled mandatory inspections, repairs, parts replacement and ensured engines went to shop before due date* SB (service bulletin) – ensured work instructions carried out, completed detailed task delivery, updated procedures and advised on options to perform ‘on wing’ or ‘off wing’ (during shop visit)* Shop visits – oversaw all shop visits and budgets, specified engine shop visit work scope (hard time and intermittent visits), managed work scope tendering process for cost controlling and compliance purposes, analysed and recommended on appropriate MRO (maintenance and repair organisation) * Maintenance - Used Digimaint program for tracking purposes of each engine status, saved data relating to all engines onto SharePoint for information transparency and availability to all parties involved* Boroscope inspections – evaluated photos and videos (.jpg & .mpg files) along with measurements taken that restricts length of parameter limitations
