Med Bank Director
-
Sep 2003 - Dec 2004
Lowndes County Partnership for Health was a local nonprofit organization created in conjunction with the Lowndes County Health Department. The mission of the non-profit is to educate and provide tools for the community for the awareness and prevention of Diabetes and Heart Disease (specifically targeting the indigent community). As the Med Bank Director, duties consisted of the planning, implementation and tracking of a process by which to provide free prescription -medications to the local indigent community. This program was created by developing relationships between our central office, drug companies, and our local Dr's offices. Through these relationships, structures were developed to manage client interviews/applications and delivery/distributions for needed medications...all free of charge to the client. These procedures were scheduled to specifically ensure our clients ability to maintain their critical medications without having lapses in treatment.
