Discovered large gap in U.S. national security allowing Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCO's) to smuggle billions of dollars of military grade weapons to fuel international crime and terrorism. Created and lead first ever multi-agency/department task force uncovering aforementioned covert weapons trafficking networks with the goal of disrupting, dismantling and destroying said networks. Lead and mentored a team of over 30 individuals from across the U.S. Government who worked with multiple intelligence streams to include Top Secret classified information to accomplish goal. Created a multi-day, multi-agency national training program on problem set to including course objectives, lesson plan, course work, practical exercises, etc. Assembled a team of over 20 individuals from across the U.S. Government to educate U.S. Government as a whole on problem and solution. Lead and trained a team of over 20 individuals conducting training virtually and in person across the U.S. to over 600 law enforcement, military, attorney's and presidential appointees on problem set and how to overcome TCO's current network structure. Briefed over 100 Senior Executives and Presidential appointees in the U.S. Government on the problem set and proposed solution to include: National Security Council (White House), Director Office of National Drug Control Policy (White House), U.S. Ambassador and Deputy Chief of Mission to Mexico, The Director and Deputy Director of Transnational Organized Crime Strategic Division (White House), Office of the Deputy Attorney General, Acting Assistant Attorney General, Deputy Assistant Attorney General and others. Created and managed the Physical Readiness Training (PRT) program, ensuring applicants, recruits and incumbent agents were physically capable of accomplishing the demanding and potentially life threatening task for an ATF Special Agent. Conducted, managed and lead a nation-wide double blind scientific study to determine ATF standards for physical readiness for special agents. Worked in conjunction with FitForce to accomplish mission. Requested, obtained and managed over $500,000 budget for the PRT program.Created, lead and managed working group consisting of all components inside of ATF that would be affected by PRT at all levels of leadership.Coordinated, liaison and worked with 5 Special Agents in Charge from 5 different Field Divisions (FD) to pilot the PRT in their FD Liaised with FBI, USMS, DEA, and FAMS in the developmental phase of the PRT programUtilized standardized, validated physical fitness metrics to determine performance and performance increases of Special Agent cadre.Recruited, interviewed, selected, coached and managed over 50 PRT coordinators nation-wide.Planned, coordinated and managed training courses for all PRT coordinatorsTrained, managed and led a cadre of over 50 Special Agents as PRT coordinators (Coaches) for/during the project.
