  RECLAIM is a Manchester-based youth leadership and social change organisation that exists to amplify the voices of working class young people, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, confidence and resilience to overcome the barriers and inequalities they face from the second they’re born. The charity’s vision is of a Britain in which working class young people are positively seen, authentically heard and can lead meaningful change across all levels of society.My role as Director of Business Development is to support colleagues in ensuring the sustainability of RECLAIM's vital projects and campaigns, whilst working with public and private donors, corporate partners and grant-giving trusts to guarantee the continued growth and exposure of the charity allowing us to reach many more young people across Greater Manchester and beyond.

Despite operating as an independent private company, Red Hazels still works to promote and uphold the ethos and values of AFG, a charity aiming to create a world where people control their lives.As Head of Development my role was to explore, identify, develop and implement new business ventures on behalf of the Board of Directors.

  As Head of Community and Business Development at Everton in the Community (Charity No. 1099366), the official charity of Everton Football Club, I was responsible for ensuring strategic growth and development across all of the charities five thematic pillars and 50+ social projects. This involved leading or supporting project coordinators with all aspects of income generation and fundraising, as well as new project development, sustainability planning, partnership development, promotion, quality assurance and service improvement.

  Specialising in the development of the charity’s world renowned disability sports programme, working in schools to engage disabled young people in a range of sporting activities with their disabled and non-disabled peers, whilst also educating teachers in how to effectively create inclusive sporting environments. I also worked extensively with the club's pan-disability and impairment specific football teams, coaching players from U12's up to adult squads, both male and female, supporting them to win a range of regional, national and international competitions, whilst also aiding the progress of several players identified to represent their country at international level. In addition, I spent 5 months in Shanghai, China, supporting the Chinese Government to implement a comprehensive disability sports and practitioner education programme in schools throughout the region, whilst also carrying out a range of promotional activities for the Beijing Paralymics in 2008.
