Providing labs, training, and support for programs, instructors, and student. I design, build, and maintain the on-prem physical and logical infrastructure specifically for the IT Ops labs on campus.🔶 Student Labs: Designer and architect of lab environment for student learning outcomes. Domain provides a dynamic learning experience with personal accounts assigned in the OUs and controlled by group policies. This provides access to domain services and network resources. Students complete their lab work for courses in virtualized course machines, which provides independent project environments. Students gain hands on experiences with servers, routers, switches, and computer workstations.🔶 Instructor Training: I offer individual training with instructors and step-by-step lab documentation. This provides faculty with the instructional knowledge to achieve their course goals in the lab domain. Instructors have the option of working on-prem in the labs or remote through a VPN.Mentorship for instructors to help expand their skill sets for teaching and working in our data center labs. CPOC for AWS Academy, Certiport Testing Center, Cisco Academy, Microsoft Academy, and vmware IT Academy.🔶 Professional technical programs: In my role, I provide scripts and application support for instructors in different programs by creating solutions to automate the deployment and configuration with established course environments with virtual machine images. I also provide a program website portal, which allows instructors to provide required client configurations and application downloads for remote students. Show less
