In the role of sourcing manager I developed the company’s agile sourcing strategy by establishing manufacturing capabilities outside of China for Delta and United Airlines items resulting in savings of 18%. I became redundant due to the collapse of the airline and travel industries from COVID. Responsibilities: • develop and implement non-China sourcing strategy • source new vendors from India, Bangladesh, Colombia, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Indonesia • implement new strategy with production and logistics departments • manage teams to maintain identified savings • build strong agile relationships with new vendors

  In the newly created role of Sourcing Manager I developed and successful implementation Kathmandu’s first Global Sourcing Strategy resulting in 3.2% savings from US $130 million annual spend, establishing the Sourcing Department and implemented the Manufacturing Roadmap 2015 to 2020. Cross functional collaboration with Product Management, Merchandise Planning, Design and the Technical Department (Product Technicians and QA) resulted in the effective establishment of new core suppliers providing improved product quality and substantial FOB and landed cost savings. Achievements • Executive and Board endorsement of Kathmandu’s first Sourcing Strategy • Within 6 months the establishment of three new core suppliers • Reallocation of US $8.5 million PA of apparel products to new suppliers

  ADA is a 100 year old garment manufacturer specialising in uniforms and equipment for the Defence and Emergency Services sectors The newly created division, ADA Parsons Logistik, developed a business stream focussing on offshore manufacturing and managed service distribution of large government and private sector uniform contracts Responsibilities As a member of the senior management team, I provided strategic advice and leadership in relation to building the Parsons Logistik business Achievements - Establishment of offshore production for ADA including the introduction of 10 new manufacturers to the business within 6 months - Management of design and development of 137 NPD SKU’s for NSW Health for delivery within 6 months - Management of production team which effectively delivered 700,000 units within 6 months across 3 new uniform contracts
