Manage the agricultural Crown land (ACL) leasing program on behalf of the department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development. The ACL program manages 2.2 million acres of agricultural sustainable Crown lands, primarily for the livestock industry of Manitoba in concert with our administrative special operating agency the Crown Lands and Property Agency. The program is headquartered in Minnedosa, MB with field staff located throughout the province. 12 staff are directly involved with program delivery with many others providing resource and technical support. Program policy and procedural development, land use planning and coding, and mediation of internal and external client inquiries are all part of the management experience in ACL. Show less
