  After 9/11, I felt the need to give something back to my community that I was not able to provide as a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley. I was able to help my clients but I wanted to do more. I turned in my application and was able to serve my community for the next 14 years. Besides serving my community as a patrol officer, the accomplishment I am most proud of was being selected as a School Resource Officer in 2011. This gave me the opportunity to work with kids from all backgrounds and be part of an award winning, nationally recognized, team that provided support for thousands of children and families. My life was changed when I gave my oath and put on my badge. I will always carry that spirit of service and sacrifice wherever I go.   Working at Morgan Stanley was a very enjoyable experience after spending time in property development and home building as a contractor. I found I could help many more people by building a strong financial future that I could building houses. I would have been well established by now had it not been for Osama Bin Laden. I was fortunate enough to have trained in Tower Two of the World Trade Center and met several people who lost their lives on 9/11. After that day, I felt overwhelmingly compelled to move to a career that would offer the opportunity to serve my community in a more personal way. I actually called the FBI but they were busy.
