Senior member of staff undertaking a variety of roles within the company. My office based duties included project management, liaising with clients, writing tenders to win future work, analysis and interpretation of data, and the production of reports and supplementary GIS packages. Examples of the data analysis I undertook included statistical analysis of biological data, interpretation of drop-down camera video footage and still photographs, and the assessment and classification of marine biotopes. I was involved in numerous field surveys, frequently acting as the lead scientist in the field, and utilised a wide range of equipment in both the intertidal environment and at sea, including offshore experience with the oil and gas industry. Survey equipment employed included drop-down camera systems, benthic grabs, water profilers and samplers, and scientific beam trawling. I was also involved in laboratory work such as taxonomic identification of marine fauna and sediment processing.
