The Marine Exchange became the eyes and ears for commercial shipping in the Bay Area with the gold rush and has held that position ever since. My tasks included, hiring, training and management of our highly effective Vessel Support Specialists, document and implement procedures, resolve employee and client disputes, steer development of our in-house Vessel Tracking application and create complex AIS reporting solutions.       Being part of Boomity was a challenging, exciting and rewarding experience.       What a great experience it was to work with this group of bright, energetic individuals with a focus on providing the best possible white glove services for its clients. In the beginning I operated as a department of one to build custom software solutions for the Cobaltix’ outsourced IT clients. We were able to grow the team rather quickly in the US and build a team of software developers overseas. Our projects grew well in size and complexity from simple MS Office automations to client-server, multi-location custom software solutions.
