  Even though my title is machine operator I have been trained by process techs at the job to be able to troubleshoot my own machine, and also how to setup as well. From being able to run machines, doing a rookie job on setups, and a proficient job on restarts, I also can operate a stand up forklift to a powered pallet jack.   I was given a chance through the Step-Up program to work with Boston Scientific located in Maple Grove, Minnesota over the summer. And during my time there, I was working along with one of there tech guys on the testing of the device. When working there I was given a chance to meet different employees as well as other interns.   Through the Step-Up Program I was given an opportunity to join Target's Asset Protection team at their headquarters and become an intern during that time period to experience both what they do and learn from them.From this experience I have learned that regardless of the situation you must take it as a serious issue and be ready for an emergency if need be or just to let the team members know ahead of time as well.
