Carry out design tasks to meet customer requirements and to take considerations to make sure that design outputs able to satisfy in-house and vendors design guidelines. Optimize layout for best possible product performance, consider the impact to improve assembly & tooling fabrication yield, and minimize final product cost. Design tasks that involve interconnect layout designs, feasibility studies, as well as design modifications, checking drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards.Responsible for the Design output and need to be in proper UTAC drawings format with accurate information and promptly reviewed and approved by authorized UTAC personnel and customer.Work with relevant Project leaders to schedule and execute designs tasks as planned with minimum supervision to complete the design task.Involve in Design group improvement activities.

Process Engineer

Responsible for the whole post-mold visual mechanical process.Conducted Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) for Assembly 4th Optical QA Gate PPM Reduction, CIP for Assembly OS Test Yield Improvement, and Product Yield Improvement. Machine set up and program set up for a new package (BGA, QFN, and QFP). Ensure high quality of device out from the assembly area.Production line sustaining to achieve maximum assembly output. Responsible for final visual inspection to achieve a maximum high quality of output. Provide support and coordinating on Assembly OS Test Implementation. Identify the actual and potential root cause of yield loss and in implementing an improvement plan to ensure maximum yield and output.Prepare OPL (One Point Lesson) for line training and conduct training as well.
