Launched Nim Designs (a small print business which sells hand-design prints on Etsy) whereby I applied the skills learnt on my university course, previous work experience and my own initiative. The creation and running of Nim Designs involves taking on multiple different roles and tasks: - Created a business plan for the brand, including competition analysis and financial planning. - Produced brand guidelines inclusive of logo design, colour palette creation and tone of voice. - Generated a large quantity of hand-designed illustrative prints we sell, created using the Adobe Suite. - Photography of each print for social media and Etsy, pairing the individual print with the appropriate mise en scene to ensure the perfect shot. - Listed each print on Etsy using keywords to attract traffic to the page, and encourage engagement. - Marketing for the brand including setting up and creating plans for social media pages such as Instagram and TikTok, with the aim to increase brand awareness and following. Maze Magazine is a publication born from a live client brief, with the aim to reassure University students about life after graduation and beyond, providing them with realistic optimism through their individual journey's. The magazine was created with both the clients (NTU Student support and Intern magazine) and the student-based target audience in mind. To do this successfully, extensive primary and secondary research was carried out to ensure an effective balance was created. The process included generating ideas, creating content, communicating with external communicators, and finally a client presentation. Show less

As marketing intern, the challenge during the course of the internship was to launch the new cat brand ‘Flawless Feline’, a sister brand of the already established ‘Miss Teddy UK’. This included extensive market research inclusive of trends, competitors and the cat industry, as well as building the brands social media pages and creating a long & short-term plan for this. A large quantity of content was created using the full Adobe Suite, which combined creativity and the outlined brand guidelines. This ensured the images and ads were engaging to the consumer, and consequently would successfully promote the brand and encourage purchase. Show less

For the last 2 years I took on the role of student ambassador for the school of Art and Design at NTU. This meant that I represented the university at open days and events, where I gave advice to prosperous students while being a recognizable face for the school. This was a rewarding role of which I enjoyed taking on during my second year at University. For the last 2 years I took on the role of student ambassador for the school of Art and Design at NTU.
