  - Conduct preliminary examinations (including colour vision and stereopsis assessments, Tonometry, axial length measurement, Corneal Topography, autorefraction, etc)- Assist in general eye examinations to determine the patient's power and ensure the health of anterior and posterior ocular structures (refraction, slit lamp biomicroscopy, etc)- Conduct advanced tests when needed (Specular Microscopy, Pentacam Crystalline lens scanning, Optomap retinal imaging, Optical Coherence Tomography, Eidon Fundus imaging)- Independently teach patients the insertion, removal and care of different types of contact lenses (including soft contact lenses, Ortho-K lenses, rigid gas permeable lenses, scleral lenses and hybrid lenses)- Check the quality of lenses; Base curve, power, diameter and cleanliness- Mend the reception counter to efficiently and smoothly handover patients to their Optometrists, register new patients, and conduct sales of products- Assist in research studies under I & Vision Research Centre- Assist patients in picking out new spectacle frames Show less
