I helped prep and work on a collection that was being showcased at Paris Fashion Week. This involved screen printing, designing care labels, pattern cutting, finish design line ups for the distributor and creating a press book. I also learned how to construct a sustainable denim jacket using recycled materials. I helped prep and work on a collection that was being showcased at Paris Fashion Week. Volunteering at The Martlets Hospice Warehouse Shop has developed my understanding of different fashion markets. My main role was to help decide where to send the clothing donations as each store has it's own different customer base, so I need to make sure the right goods were sent to the right stores. This made me more aware of customer profiles. My role also included packing, managing, organising and retrieving stock, as well as tagging clothing that was gift aided.
