  During my time at the Whydah Pirate Museum, I learned new skills that allowed me to increase the accessibility and educational offerings of the museum. I enhanced my graphic design skills while creating a museum map, as well as increased my knowledge of audio-visual programming when I developed museum resources for visually impaired guests. While acting as Visitor Service's Associate, I researched, wrote, and provided historically accurate guided tours for the Whydah Pirate Museum. My job functions included digital communication with patrons; I provided facility information in addition to historical research for guest inquiries. On top of specialized responsibilities, I supervised the front desk and daily operations: These included greeting guests, operating our ticketing software, phone duties, and more, all while maintaining a pleasant and safe environment.
