I investigated the molecular mechanisms by which a medically approved device, the healing of chronic venous leg ulcers. I conducted clinical trials in Copenhagen, worked alongside medical professionals on a nationwide clinical trial in Bradford as well establishing techniques in tissue culture, overexpression and knockdown in vitro, bioimaging techniques, western blotting, RNA and protein isolation from human samples, and running ELISA’s.
