I had the ability to examine and evaluate the art work done by the American Folk artist Clementine Hunter, and conducted valuations and condition reporting on Haitian paintings and Andy Warhol photographs. While at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum I had the opportunity to learn about collections inventories, expand my research skills, practice writing text panels, and design an exhibit. It was these opportunites that prepared me for the designing and Development of the exhibition 50 Years of Journalism: Maggie Martin and The Times. Interned under Curator and Archivist Nita Cole.
