  During my work experience at South Devon College I was observing the taking place of History classes within the A-Level department of the college. This work experience was over one week in September and allowed me to observe different History classes of different abilities as well as being led by different teachers. I observed lesson of both years of A-Level, I also observed a couple of lessons at GCSE level although these where English Literature classes and not History. Through observing these different classes I was able to observe different teaching styles, observing how best to engage students and ensure focus as well as observing the different approach needed by teachers for different classes.
