At the end of October, I was offered a full time position as a Junior Booker. I did the same roles as above, but also started dealing with client briefs by sending over suitable suggestions, booking in castings and options, reaching out to new clients, scouting for new faces, managing models diaries including travel and castings and maintaining the website.   I worked as a customer assistant at Tesco’s for five years across several different departments. I was mostly based within the front end operation where I took on the Team Leader role, self service and tills. Alongside working on the shop floor within various departments. I also worked at two different stores, going back and forth balancing my job whilst at university. This opportunity helped me gain various skills such as great customer service, good communication, managerial and commercial awareness. I also gained experience working under pressure in many different situations. I worked as a team and sometimes needed to work on my own. I was able to manage my time with a positive attitude whilst being responsible. I was able to gain an excellent product knowledge with a great attention to detail during my time at Tesco’s.   I undertook an internship at F&F on the buying department for ladies shoes. My role involved producing trend reports, preparing for trade, attending fit sessions, producing comp shops, making sure the cupboard stayed tidy, racking up shoes for meetings, labelling shoes with figures from their sales and checking through the critical paths. I also spent a day with the design team where I attended meetings, produced a comp shop, looked for swatches of materials that could be used, seeing how shoes can be related back to ladies wear and their ideas and looked at possible designs for the future.
