  As an interventionist, tutor, mentor and role model, service is provided through: • Academic Support: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring before, during and after school • Attendance and Positive Behavior Encouragement: Lead energetic morning greetings, make attendance and positive phone calls home and lead mentor groups • Community and School Improvements: Organize and lead activities, celebrations and projects to improve the community and school environment which includes performing physical service such as: painting murals, planting community gardens, renovating schools and refurbishing community centers. Service Delivery & Impact • Implement City Year’s Whole School, Whole Child Tier 1 supports and Tier 2 interventions with a high degree of quality to the right students at the right time. Partner with school academic coaches to confirm utilization of the appropriate curriculum and track student data to ensure academic gains are being made Service Partner Management • Build and cultivate a strong partnership with teachers, principal, school officials, and other key decision makers. Manage implementation of school partnership agreement and conditions for success. Quickly and professionally resolve any conflicts that arise with partners. Organizational Initiatives • Think outside of my own job description at all times to help further the National Service Movement. Moreover, devote time to member recruitment and events throughout the year, including MLK Day, National Youth Service Day, Youth Summit, our Annual Gala, and more.
