I undertook my placement year at Kier Construction's Loughton office, going onto extend my placement by a further month. My job at Kier made me accustomed to working in a face-paced environment as well as working in a small team. Spending my placement year at Kier was one of the best decisions I have made in regards to my future career. My responsibilities were as follows: - Responsibility for the creation and management of social media content for the London business.- Providing relevant information about the London business for the group website. - Curating case studies and features on projects and activities in the London region.- Creating the London Business' intranet- Assisting the Business Development team on CRM activities, data input and reports.- In-house design work – posters, booklets, PowerPoints etc for every department.- Assisting the submissions team- Assisting and planning the annual employee roadshow.- Sending internal newsflashes daily.- Collating materials for award submissions.- Assisting the CSR department where needed. - Assisting the coordination of events - charity stakeholder events and well as employee events.- Demonstrate resilience working under pressure in a small department.

Project Manager, Director and Co-scriptwriter - Promotional Video
-
Jan 2015 - May 2015
While at college, my class was commissioned to prepare a short video for a local women's empowerment group; Soroptimist International. A small team of us worked together over a few months to pitch and then create the full video. My initial role began as a director but changed over time due to members of the team dropping out. We completed the recording of the video as well as later post-production and the organisation was satisfied with the results.
