Chip is one of, if not THE most loyal individual I have had the pleasure of working with during my transition period. His hard work, determination, and willingness to do the right thing was far beyond his peers. I will greatly cherish the friendship I have made with Chip, and I sincerely value every piece of advice that he has provided me with during the mentorship phase of our working relationship. Thanks a lot Chip, and look forward to linking up in the future!

Battalion Commander
-
Jul 2015 - Mar 2017
I commanded an active battalion of 275 Soldiers and 75 civilians. The battalion is an eclectic mix of military and civilian staff with both active duty and reserve Soldiers. Of the 275 Soldiers, approximately 75 were staff whose primary duty was to care and account for the wounded, ill and injured Soldiers on a daily basis. Together with the approximately 75 civilian staff, the team of 150 Soldiers and civilian staff were able to provide medical care, human resources support, physical fitness, and 24 hour, seven-days-a-week accountability of the wounded, ill and injured Soldiers, the majority of whom lived off of post. My staff consisted of both full time military and civilian workers, medical providers, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and a myriad of military occupational specialties as well. Finally, a large percentage of my wounded, ill and injured Soldiers were also TBI and behavioral health patients that required additional care and accountability in order to facilitate their care.
