Tracks the emergent, critical and routine maintenance requirements for three Navy research vessels. Communicates maintenance requirements to all interested/invested parties. Coordinates the emergent, critical and routine repairs. Identify and de-conflict maintenance requirements versus operational commitments. Illicits bids from service providers and compiles estimates and make recommendations of which service provider should be selected. Obtains parts, supplies and equipment estimates. Creates purchase orders electronically (MS Excel) in order to support vessel and shore-side support maintenance. Utilizes government funds and company credit card to purchase supplies maintenance and equipment items for shipment to the vessel in need. Manages the Quality and Safety Management System (QSMS) and compiles monthly reports to upper echelon. Conducts monthly and quarterly self-audits to make sure contractual requirements are being adhered to.
