Graduate thesis in BME focused on utilizing Neuroimaging as a diagnostic tool for pain diagnosis. I created an experiment which can be used for quantifying pain objectively using brain patterns captured with an encephalogram (EEG) device and classified with a support vector machine algorithm to identify varying levels of pain perception.
