I completed an industrial placement year at a Family Law Firm as a Legal Assistant to a solicitor. I gained communicative skills, completed tasks with little assistance from my colleagues, this experience pushed me out of my comfort zone and I have gained so much confidence in the legal environment. Along with speaking to clients and emailing clients daily - I completed position statements, draft orders, summaries and other important documents for the attention of the Court.
