I provide learning support (L2 activities) for minors of foreign background residing in Italy. Originally, the laboratory was meant to take place in the school classrooms, but due to the Covid-19 emergency the planned activities were re-arranged to be held via online platforms. The aim is to help kids with their homeworks; at the same time, children with major problems expressing themselves in the italian language are led to a general improvement of their communication skills. I was in charge of organizing and coordinating a large spectrum of activities, such as project works, public laboratories, multilanguage chat sessions and so on. Many of these involved both exchanging students from all over the world and japanese students. • I was in charge of organizing educational laboratories with both italian and foreign minors as main target. That included the first steps of conceptualizing the aims and the strategies applied to the laboratory, the promotional activities (such as public and cultural events, concerts, and so on) and the interaction with the children. • I did frontoffice work, interacting with people who needed information regarding support measures covered by european and italian programmes. This activity has deepened my knowledge in the field of international humanitarian protection and all the legal architecture that surrounds it.
