I first worked with Chiara in 2007/2008, when she and I organized Peterborough's inaugural Community Movements conference––now in its tenth year. Chiara's ambitious vision and tireless work ethic helped transform our initially modest plan into an international conference that brought together participants from Peterborough to the Philippines! She was a critical part of the conference leadership in subsequent years. Since then, Chiara has continued to hone her skills as a highly motivated community organizer and a social worker committed to the principles of gender equality and social justice. She has a remarkable ability to elevate the work of any team she is part of and would be a great addition to an organization looking for a confident and effective social justice advocate.
