Annual international commercial arbitration competition in Vienna, consisting in a simulated arbitration proceedings, where each University team drafts a written Memorandum for Claimant and for Respondent. Subsequently the team pleads during oral hearings before Arbitral Tribunals composed of the world-renowned arbitrators. The legal problem concerns an international sales contract governed by the CISG, as well as issues of international civil procedure and international commercial arbitration. This competition lasts 7 months while it requires students to research various laws, apply them to complex scenarios and learn to master the art of oral advocacy. This permits to advance the knowledge of international commercial law and arbitration, while also improving, with practical training, the capacity to solve international business disputes through the processes of arbitration.
