I hired and managed chi when we were at Esurance. She is a quick learner and a great collaborator and is always a reliable team player who never hesitates to ask the right questions. She gained a good understanding of how media channels work and worked extensively on marketing attribution and analytics tools viz. MTA, MMM, and Media mix model, She is good at SQL and building reports for tests we run through Digital media channels. She is incredibly motivated, always brings a positive attitude to the job, and will be a huge asset to any team.

I had the privilege of working with Chi Nguyen in different peer roles: she was my classmate in several courses as well as a fellow Analytics Club Officer at Cal State University, East Bay (CSUEB). I worked closely with Chi when she was elected as the President of the CSUEB Analytics Club. What impressed me the most about Chi is her determination to execute a plan all with a positive and can-do attitude. She has fantastic organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Chi created numerous connections for the club and is a strong advocate for professional growth and networking. In her tenure, I’ve witnessed Chi plan and execute many successful events which helped transform the CSUEB Analytics Club into a respected and valued club on campus. The Data Analytics Panel, which she spearheaded, had a turnout of over 75+ attendees with top industry professionals from Fortune 500 companies. Chi is also a compassionate leader. She planned team outings to create synergy and build strong bonds within the club. Additionally, Chi would always lead our weekly team meetings with exceptional thoroughness and attention to detail. She touched base with everyone on the team to ensure that we all had the support, help, and resources needed to achieve our goals. Chi has the special ability to collaborate with all types of personalities and believe in the capabilities of each individual in her team.
