Nextiles sews circuitry into fabrics providing elegant solutions to track data from anything and everything we interact with. Unlike conductive inks, our sensors work with basic threads such as cotton, polyester, spandex and nylon so our environmental impact is reduced. Nextiles fabrics are custom-tailored to fit any situation. We have reconfigured the sensor world to work with any fabric. Our differentiating product offering is the ability to produce biomechanical and biochemical data from form-fitting and tailored products using Nextiles’ patented technology to sew circuitry directly into fabric. Developed new softgoods product lines for brands in various fields through ideation, modeling, prototyping, etc. Designed enclosures for different product lines and pushed them into mass production phase of injection molding. Designed CAM and CNC jigs for fabrication and assembly of electro-mechanical components. Show less

Partnered with Samsung to research migration patterns in the United States and explore the lifestyle differences between core urban, suburban, and rural areas to reimagine household products. Explored changes in consumer behavior due to the COVID-19 pandemic and projected anticipated trends after the virus and how they might translate to new product concepts. Finally, there were 4 design concepts proposed as the future household appliances for the United States.
