Filling a much-needed niche of a woman-owned & DBE business in the environmental consulting industry, we are able to fulfill all environmental project obligations from start to finish. Our integrative team of specialists offers comprehensive environmental consulting services for wildlife, botany, and permitting. We work with various stakeholders and industries, municipalities, developers, nonprofits, and government entities who are looking for environmental guidance. At SummitWest we partner with our clients to preserve and enhance the structure of the natural environment. SummitWest has 20 full time staff and another 35 part-time, allowing us to do a fantastic job covering California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada.   Worked as a senior botanist and wildlife biologist, largely supporting SCE and TRTP in the Angeles National Forest. Lead botanical teams and worked with others doing rare plant surveys, tree counts, vegetation mapping, construction monitoring, and nesting bird surveys. I left ICF because they did not give me the proper opportunities to grow my career, were under-utilizing my skill set, and pigeon-holed me on one project after several years of service.
