Shadowed Ms. Bethan Ruth Evans in prosecuting a criminal case regarding drug trafficking (Methylamphetamine, Gamma- butyrolactone, Cannabis) consisting of 9 charges, particularly in relation to the Misuse of Drugs (possession and supply), Possession of Criminal Property and Fraudulent Evasion of a Restricted Importation of Criminal Property. Observed the whole trial process at the Crown Court from the aspects of pleas, selection of juries, examination-in-chief, cross-examination, verdict delivery, summing-up and sentencing. Observed meeting conducted between barrister and witness (police officer) before the trial. Shadowed Ms. Rebecca Griffiths in defending a criminal case regarding drug trafficking (Cocaine), particularly in relation to the Misuse of Drugs (possession).
