Cheryl has always been a great help to a senior professor who is involved in a number of college projects. For example as office manager she has helped to execute small grants I have obtained for our service learning program. Cheryl was also a valuable contributor several years ago when the college revamped its shared governance program. Again as a senior faculty member I played a significant role in this effort and had the opportunity to see first hand Cheryl speak up about the need for the classified staff to have a seat and a voice in the governance system that was being created.
