  I am best known for my realistic representation of animals, which includes a multitude of dog breeds. I began my career in 1992 as a jeweler creating designs mainly from sterling silver and gemstones. Over the years, I have focused my designs in the niche of animal designs. Through the manipulation and shaping of the metal, I am able to capture the characteristics that make each animal unique and easily identifiable. Recently, I have returned to the art-form that shaped me as an artist – drawing. I use colored pencils, watercolors, pastels and fine tip markers to create lifelike images of man’s best friend. I am able to reflect their spirit in the manner in which I draw their eyes, and create the feeling of their fur through my use of color and line.
