Joe Bellabona
Cheryl Avaitable is a self starter, motivated by "what is right thing to do". She was concerned with achieving patient care excellence, in her department, while producing staff cohesion. She is known for her dogged perserverance, while at the same time conveying a kindness toward her staff, peers, and patients. She is an effective manager. Her tenacity for trouble-shooting any given problems, is surpassed by few. She is consistently engaged in the process, but allows for staff growth and maturity. This is why I believe she is an excellent manager. Whenever Cheryl was engaged, I knew we were going to get things done. She was involved in many committees here at Milton, that improved both her own Department and Milton Hospital as a whole. She was an integral part of our tenured management team. She is missed, and will be an valuable asset anywhere she is employed.
