This is a new role within the company I work directly with the Creative Director. My Main focus is trend forecasting, designing fabric prints and developing textiles with suppliers in China. Mainly in home textiles for one of NZ's large retailers. This is a new role within the company I work directly with the Creative Director. I have designed an coordinated all branding and packaging requirements for two of New Zealand's largest retailers, and across 20+ individual homeware brands. During my time I minimized the amount of PVC into the country by up to 75%. I worked with the buyer and our suppliers to develop items the end user wanted to reuse. I also worked closely with photographers and styled all photoshoots, gave direction for designers and coordinated all outsourced artwork and imagery, aswell as putting together trend driven seasonal colour palettes.

New Zealand Brand Manager
-
Sep 2008 - Jan 2011
I managed the branding, seasonal and stock buying, national sales and sell through for the launch into the New Zealand Market of "Not your daughters jeans, New Zealand. Developing the "fit day" and hosting these events in major department stores, and independant stores all over the country. For two seasons as well as the day to day selling and stock control of NYDJ. I was the national sales rep for a Made in New Zealand fashion label, taking the label from a 50k season too 100k + placing it in a major department store. I also attended international conferences, went on buying trips to America looking for new labels of niche brands not available in New Zealand.
