• Locating vendors, negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment terms for the various requirements of the stations across the region. • Qualifying and approving vendors that apply to be included in the approved vendor list of the company. • Procurement of equipments and vehicles for the company’s operational requirement. • Procurement of equipment parts, PPE, merchandise, general items, and food products for the employees and equipment across the network. • Maintaining stock levels and conducting checks on the inventory submitted by stations on equipment parts, general items and food products. • Constantly monitoring performance of vendors and suppliers on product quality, responsiveness to enquiry and delivery timeliness. • Preparing necessary documents to be submitted to the finance department for payment process of materials and services provided by vendors/suppliers. • Managing the fleet maintenance program on the status and condition of all the equipments in the network. • Assignment of mechanics to tasks that require preventive maintenance and repairs that need to be done on the equipments. • Issuing and closing work orders on the jobs done on the equipments in the network. • Preparing outbound load sheets, cargo booking forms, documents for outbound shipments that are to be loaded on aircrafts for onward movement to various destinations. • Meeting customers and preparing quotes for shipments that are to be moved out of the base. • Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports for senior management’s perusal.
