  Being a repossession officer meant I was in charge of delinquent vehicle loans. I worked closely with the collections officers in getting a payment. Once no payment had been made, I had to set up repossession of the vehicle through different repo agents we used. Sometimes I would need to do research on the vehicle to find out where it was located. I was also in charged of making sure vehicles we had repossessed went to our car auction in a timely manner. After the repossessed vehicle sold I was in charge of applying funds to vehicle before charging the account off and sending the letters to the members. I would try to set up payment plans with the customer after charge off. Show less
