Chelsea is one of the best colleagues I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She is creative, ambitious, intelligent, and willing to go the extra mile to complete a task. She takes all assignments given to her and excels above and beyond what is expected. While working alongside her at Gulf State Park, I saw her step in not only as the Marketing and Promotions Manager, but also as the Purchasing Manager, and the Special Events Manager. I wholeheartedly believe that she is one of the best employees available and can say with certainty that she would be a great asset to any team.

      ● Gulf State Park has seen an increase of 14.53% in event based sales since I started (based on monthly statistics comparing February through May of 2013 to the same months in 2014). ● I worked on projects to attract guests to the park. These projects ranged from graphic design flyers and email blasts, to social media photography, to planning small and large events on a small budget. My job was dependent upon creative thinking in regards to all of my daily tasks. ●Managed all inquiries about our rental facilities to groups including family reunions and weddings. I had several facilities to manage bookings and paperwork for. I did this along with planning multiple annual events and smaller weekend events for the park. ● I spoke with future guests, mostly brides, who were interested in renting our facilities. It was my responsibility to be educated about all that the park and surrounding area could offer them along with selling them on how great our facility would work for their event. I formed relationships with these customers, as I was the point person for any questions they had about their reservations. Show less
