Full responsibility for management of the not-for-profit organization, including budget & financials, board reporting, human resources, adhering to our mission and strategic plans, program development, and stakeholder engagement. This includes:- Co-orchestrated the successful launch and operations of North America’s first large-scale smart-bike system, including 750 bikes and thousands of racks throughout Hamilton as part of a public-private partnership.- Created the Everyone Rides Initiative, Canada’s first bike share equity program. The initiative is designed to remove barriers to access, develop relationships and partnerships, deliver tailored subsidized memberships and programming, and create tools and solutions for equity-deserving communities in Hamilton.- Established and nourished strong relationships with stakeholders in the public and private sector. - Collaborated with the Board of Directors to create two 5-year Strategic Plans with key performance indicators to measure success and inform decisions.- Managed a dynamic team of up to 24 employees at a given time, including all aspects of recruitment, retention, support and mentorship. - Successfully utilized change and crisis management throughout organizational transitions.- Launched a Black Lives Matter Action Plan and working group to address systemic racism and create specific, attainable actions and increase accountability between our organization and community stakeholders.- Secured grants and project funds totaling more than $2 million by leveraging partnerships and writing robust proposals.- Increased revenue to generate financial stability through sponsorships, fundraising, and by supporting efforts to obtain a commitment of ongoing municipal contributions toward operations and accessibility. - Led marketing, communications, and member management of over 30,000 participants.
