In my role as a preservice educator at Sunnybank State High, I have been able to experience educating a diverse student body and have been able to develop my behaviour management skills. In this role, I achieved a 50% teaching load and taught sequences of lessons for years 8, 9, and 10 Music as well as providing individual tutoring in year 11 Music in Practice and in a year 8 English class. During this placement, I attended staff and faculty meetings, engaged in professional conversations with peers, and participated in creating, marking, and moderating various formative and summative assessment items. On my interim report for this practicum I achieved all Graduate standard qualifications in relation to the Australian Professional Standards for Teaching. Show less

In my role as a pre-service teacher at Brigidine College, I experienced teaching music, religion and history for junior school grades, as well as segments of lessons for senior classes. I undertook up to 50% loading at the school and experienced administering assessment as well as giving feedback to students in verbal and written formats. I achieved "Well-Developed" in almost all sections of my interim and final reports for this practicum.
