      As a lead I am crossed trained to float throughout the Medical Records Department to assist where help is needed and facilitate an efficient work flow for the department. Some duties includes: transcriptions, chart preparation for appointments, release of information, new employee training, write/revise procedures, conduct meeting minutes, dictate staff coverage, coordinate electronic referrals for Mayo Consults and eTumor board meetings, serve as a superuser to manage projects & collect data for the department's analysis.
