I was accountable for the sales of all counseling, social work, criminal justice, and early childhood textbooks for Northern California andresponsible for an annual target of 1.5 million dollars. While I did sometimes make trips to colleges, most of all my work was completed through phone and e-mail. Additionally, I was accepted into the “Circle of Excellence”—a group for the top sales performers in the company—to directly work with the CEO, head of sales, and head of marketing. Although Cincinnati, Ohio doesn’t have the biggest freelance market, I’ve been lucky to work on various commercials and shows for CBS, TLC, the Travel Channel, VH1, WE, and MTV. Most notably, I was a director of photography, associate producer, and camera operator for an independent horror film called Revelation Trail. Although this indie flick was made for only 42K, we were able to secure worldwide distribution through Entertainment One.
