My College Pro Management Internship gave me the opportunity to own and operate my own business in a safe environment where I was coached and developed. I also got to benefit from the College Pro brand that had already been established, as a franchisee. Through my franchise agreement, I am able to operate in 8 specific zip codes, spanning across the Northern Spokane Valley to Liberty Lake, Washington. Throughout weekly meetings, development conferences, and one on one coaching events with my General Manager, I was given the tools necessary to run my business. Duties during the second semester of Sophomore year include: Commuting to the Spokane Valley from Moscow, Idaho 2-4 Times a week to -Market my business to generate leads -Estimating, and bidding projects -Close sales with customers -Interview, hire, train my own team of marketers who independently generated leads -have weekly goal setting and review meeting to contribute to their success During summer my Duties include: Interviewing and hiring job site managers for crews, as well as painters. Building each crew to a team, and training them to have ownership of their work -Projecting future expenses -Managing operations of up to 6 crews working independently -Safety and quality inspections on every project -Ensuring high quality customer service, problem solving any issues. With my first year coming to a close, I couldn’t ask for such an amazing experience to build my skills, resume, and experience level. In addition to the business skills I was able to fine tune, I learned more about myself than I ever thought possible. I began to understand what true leadership is, I became a master of my schedule and my to-do list, and I learned how to manage my own finances in addition to those of the business. Achievements: Created 111,558 of Sales within a 6 Month Span through my own, and my team's marketing efforts. Produced the 111,558 of sales over in 3 months. Managed 12 Full Time Employees.
